There is a third party Assessor, separate from Pacific Ropes, who comes in to conduct your assessment. #### [What do I get when I pass?**](https://www.pacificropes.com/irata-rope-access-course#collapseTwo) Once you pass your assessment on the last day, you will receive a copy of your assessment. Your certification (and logbook if you're a level 1) is processed and mailed from IRATA within 60 days. #### [What happens if I don't pass?**](https://www.pacificropes.com/irata-rope-access-course#collapseThree) Unfortunately, sometimes you may need to re-evaluate because you made a silly mistake or had a brain fart. You will need to wait at least 7 days to re-evaluate again. You are allowed up to 60 days to re-evaluate. If you wait past 60 days, you will need to take the full four days of training again. It costs $750 to do the re-assessment. For more re-assessment and how to avoid the cost, click below. [Re-Assessments](https://www.pacificropes.com/blog/rope-access-reassessment?hsLang=en) #### [How fit do you have to be?**](https://www.pacificropes.com/irata-rope-access-course#collapseFour) Expect to be on your feet 90% of the time! Rope access courses are physically demanding and requires a certain fitness level. Be prepared to sweat! The courses consist of theory but will be mainly practical. If you're not sure of whether you can complete the practical components of the course, you can contact us to schedule a 1 day rope access awareness session. #### [What is the cost of training?**](https://www.pacificropes.com/irata-rope-access-course#collapseFive) The IRATA course is $2000 plus GST at our Edmonton location, and $2100 plus GST at our Vancouver training center. Prices subject to change. #### [Are there group rates?**](https://www.pacificropes.com/irata-rope-access-course#collapseSix) Every company has different requests, so we do our best to accommodate your needs! Please contact us at [training@pacificropes.com](mailto:training@pacificropes.com) with your specific training needs. #### [What do I need to bring?**](https://www.pacificropes.com/irata-rope-access-course#collapseSeven) We will provide all the equipment that you will need for training. Leveling up requires a lot of new skills and maneuvers, Aaron broke everything down really well and simplified everything perfectly. His knowledge is plentiful. My course was a small group which was awesome to cover things quickly with more time for practice. ### Cameron Scott-Trask PacRopes L1 Student Absolutely top notch training provided. The facility and instructors are fantastic. Extremely overwhelming amount of knowledge, however the course is well designed to slowly build skills, growing your confidence until it becomes clear. Would highly recommend. ### Tanner Robinson PacRopes L1 Student Great facility and instructors! They cover a lot of material quickly, but pace you through it so well that you hardly notice. They've got great videos to watch after class in case you don't remember, and the whole team is just a lot of fun to be around. I've taken many certification courses and this is not only professionally run, but also one of the best I've ever participated in. They're great and I will be doing all my levelling up with them. ### James Rhodes PacRopes L1 Student Absolutely top notch training provider. The facility and instructors are world class. Any questions or need for extra practice time is gladly addressed, ensuring your confidence on assessment day. I can't recommend Pacific Ropes highly enough! ### Daleer Singh PacRopes L1 Student Pacific instructors are very helpful. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. Assessor are so good and helpful. I really enjoyed and feel more confident with my rope skills. Highly recommended this place for training. Thanks ### GLovely Clouds PacRopes L1 Student Really clean and comfortable space to learn in. Awesome staff with lots experience and friendly teaching methods. I’m really happy I chose pacific ropes to learn and practice. Highly recommend! ### AJ Trenchard PacRopes L1 Student Great place to learn. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Big fan on the teacher, as a brand new rope access technician, Patrick really helped me to feel comfortable and confident. ### Daniel James PacRopes L1 Student I took my level 1 training in both Irata and Sprat. All the staff we very friendly and knowledgeable. Our instructors Josh was very patient and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience. ### Talaat Bakri PacRopes L1 Student Completed a Tower climbing and rescue course here. The facility has everything needed for the course including a tower and all climbing gear that are state of art. The instructor was very knowledgeable with very good teaching skills. I have learned alot from a legal and rescue perspective. I definitely recommend. ## Registration form We have multiple training dates each month.
