Job Overview
We’re building an on-call team of skilled Confined Space Rescue and First Aid professionals to support projects across the Greater Vancouver Area. This role is perfect for those who want flexible, short-term opportunities — whether you’re between contracts, looking to stay sharp, or want to be part of a trusted rescue network that keeps others safe.
Responsibilities
- Conduct confined space assessments to identify potential hazards, atmospheric conditions, and safe entry plans.
- Develop and support rescue plans tailored to specific site conditions.
- Maintain and inspect all rescue equipment to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Monitor entry operations to ensure safety and respond immediately to any incidents.
- Provide first aid and emergency support when required.
- Participate in training and drills to stay prepared and confident.
- Complete incident and activity reports accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Confined Space Rescue certification (NFPA, CSA, or equivalent).
- OFA Level 3 or equivalent advanced first aid certification (strong asset).
- 2–3 years of experience in rescue operations, firefighting, or emergency response.
- Solid understanding of confined space hazards, gas detection, and safe entry procedures.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and situational awareness.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in confined or high-risk environments.
- A positive attitude and a strong commitment to safety.
